Privacy policy

DraftMyPortfolio uses X, Google, or Discord sign-in to identify players and run the daily and weekly pick’em experience. We receive the provider account identifier, username or profile name, display name, and avatar supplied through OAuth. We never receive your provider password.

Information we store

We store the provider identities you link to your DMP account, your submitted contest picks, the canonical option contract symbol, vendor-observed quote snapshots, and result records used for the leaderboard. DMP does not request or store your X or Google email address. If you opt in to settlement notifications, we also store that preference and a limited delivery receipt. We do not request your brokerage credentials, connect to your brokerage account, or execute trades.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate you, enforce one pick per ticker per daily session or one pick per contest week, show your pick history, settle results, and maintain the leaderboard. Your display name, locked picks, and server-tracked results appear on a random-slug public player profile and on pick-specific public links that you choose to distribute. Anyone with a public pick link can view that pick, its rationale, and its tracked result. Provider account IDs are not included in public profile or pick URLs. Tradier supplies option-chain and quote data; DMP sends the requested market symbol or contract identifier, not your provider identity. If you link Discord and opt in to settlement notifications, DMP uses your Discord account ID to open a direct-message channel and send the tracked result. We do not sell personal information or merge accounts based on matching email.

Cookies and security

A secure, HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in. The site also uses a short-lived OAuth state cookie and PKCE where supported to protect provider sign-in and linking flows.

Data choices

You can sign out at any time and revoke the application from your provider’s authorized-app settings. You can turn settlement notifications off from your account page. For account or deletion requests, contact the site owner through the project’s official GitHub repository.
